Waiverable Citation Payments
(Cases where defendant IS NOT required to come to court)
Under the O.R.C (Ohio Revised Code) certain traffic citations may be resolved through the Traffic Violations Bureau in lieu of appearing in Court. If your citation qualifies, payment can be made either in person, mail, or online, as long as it is received by the South Euclid Municipal Court Clerk of Court's office prior to the Court date and time which can be found on the bottom of your citation. You must pay the full amount. NO partial payment can be accepted.
Court records are updated every 24 hours, therefore if you forgot or miss your court date, you should contact the Clerk's office immediately to check the status of your case. You may still be able to pay your citation either via mail, in person or online. If you do not qualify for payment you MUST appear in person at the Clerk's office as an arrest warrant MAY have already been issued. Additionally, the Bureau of Motor Vehicles may have been informed of a forfeiture and/or block of your license. These may result in you being responsible for additional fees.
Multiple Violations on Citation(s)
Cases can contain an unlimited number of separate charges. If you are paying to waive a court appearance, make sure you are paying all the associated charges to waive the case. A case will not be closed unless all charges are paid in full. Please note that multiple cases per ticket are listed with letters after the case number (ex. TRD199999A, TRD199999B, TRD199999C,etc.).
In cases where the Judge along with the defendant has agreed upon a payment arrangement, the defendant cited can only make payments at the Clerk's window with exact cash, check, money order or credit card. Payment arrangements are set only by the Judge of the South Euclid Municipal Court
Payment of Citation After Missing Court Appearance
Payment of fines and costs are accepted by the Clerk's Office as long as it is received prior to your scheduled court date. If you missed the date, call the South Euclid Municipal Clerk of Courts office at (216) 381-2880 to determine if your citation is eligible for online payment. If a warrant has been issued, the offense is no longer eligible for online payment and must be paid in person at the South Euclid Municipal Clerk of Courts office.
Proof of Insurance
Motor vehicle operators in the State of Ohio are required to own auto insurance. To verify that you provided proof of insurance to the Officer at the time of the offense, click the case number(s) on the list of case numbers matching your search criteria to see detailed information for the case.

This can be done via mail at South Euclid Municipal Clerk of Courts office at 1349 South Green Road, South Euclid Ohio 44121, fax at (216) 381-1195, or email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
